Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head. Aromas are rich sweet malts with light roast notes. Smoky with evident alcohol. Flavours are molasses with sweet caramel and chocolate malts. Rich, smoky and spicy. Warming alcohol. Malty, tasty and powerful.

Jul 13, 2008 Bottle a Århus Ølfestival 2008. Pours hazy brown with a small head. Aroma is very sweet and like ryebread and also a hint of stables... Flavour is sweet and malty again ryebread, and it has som thickness to it.

Jul 3, 2008 Big thanks to pivnizub for the beer! The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Fine brown head. Tastes not as strong as exspected, constant malty, finish a little bit smoky. Very drinkable doppelbock. Well done!

Jun 22, 2008 Bottle at ÅBF08. Roasted, sweet malt aroma. The flavour also has some roast, sweet malt. Good alcohol level. Clear brown colour. No head. Nice hint of lagering.
