Oct 16, 2007 Bottle @ IslandHaole’s: Yellow beige, nose of rice dust, some hay and earthy leaves, some strong husky acidity, popcorn, caramel, some full on alcohol in the mouthfeel. Nice body, chewy, salty, thick. Nice yamahai, but not my favorite. Thanks Dan!

Oct 3, 2007 This sake has a pale greenish tint and a mild scent of fruit.....plums and berries come to mind. A slightly thick body, a bit sweet up front but has a dryish herbal "anise" flavor in the finish. Quite a treat, in fact, I’m drinking another glass right now! Glad I got to share it with Buckdich!
