Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is wheaty and yeasty, some banana and clove. A medium bodied hefe-weizen. The malts are wheaty, with a lot of banana and clove flavor. Kind of yeasty as well. The hops are floral and slightly spicy. Lively carbonation. Touch of lemon and citrus at the finish. Light and refreshing. Nice beer on a warm summer evening. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. bassbuckeye (81), Ohio, USA

Also, a small amount of dark yeast sediment is evident in the pour. Initial aroma has hints of honey. Taste has hints of honey and banana but no strong evidence of citrus. I didn’t find anything particularly impressive about this beer. bhensonb (4339), Woodland, California, USA

Nice earthy nose, ripe banana, little spritzy pepper and yeast. Slightly sour, earthy flavor, little banana and spices. Strong yeast, pepper and alcohol in the finish. Medium bodied, quite slick palate. Overall a bit too alcoholic. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 28, 2008 500 ml bottle. Orange golden beer with a thick sticky white head. Aroma is wheaty with some soft clovey spiciness. Refreshing with a little bit of citrus as well. Soft and pretty well-balanced. It’s less fruity than many and there is also a hint of herbal flavour as well. Warming brings up a bit of vegetal character... meh. Poobah (103), New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 25, 2008 Lemony, citrusy nose with a hint of coriander. Abundant head that is constant and leaves some lace. Smooth entry and very smooth mouthfeel with a medium, mildly carbonated mouthfeel that leads to a somewhat bitter finish consisting of banana, orange and spice. Maltiness is evident throughout. Very refreshing.
