Ok, so this is over-simplifing and being flipent, but I’ve never had such a banana-ery Hefe. It totally over powered all the other flavours that may have been struggling to escape. Nice light body, easy on the palete, looked ok - nice orange body, big fluffy head. One for your Gorilla chums or Bananaman. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2007 Poured a hazy soft peachy amber with a thick creamy offwhite head. THe aroma was a little sour, typical of German wheats, spicy, citrusy, and yeasty. The flavor was wheaty, had that sour character, some spice, a little banana, and yeasty. The palate was a bit thinner than I would have liked. Another enjoyable German Hefeweizen. Nightfall (647), Athens, Greece

Tastes of yeast , banana , citric fruits. A pretty decent Weissbier. ARMed (486), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2007 I have to go along woth the concensus with the rating of this beer. It is a decent weiss beer but not extra-ordinary. The beer is refreshing but it is not as complex as I would have hoped.
The head quickly dissapates and the beer is rather stagnant after the pour. It looses its character very quickly.
