Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Pours a hazy yellow with a nice big white head. Aroma is a little yeasty with some banana. Flavor is drier to style and has some lemon and some yeasty spiciness.

Sharp banana nose, flavor is lighter banana and clove than expected. All the classic Hee flavors, just kind of subdued. Carbonation and mothfeel are both pretty heavy for the style. Good, but there are better examples out there.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy, goldish color with a creamy head. Aroma of banana, yeast and wheat. Not a fantastic aroma. Easy drinking flavor, but not bursting with goodness. Wheat malt, banana, and a bit of spice. Solid, and a good for what its good for.

1pint 9oz bottle pours a hazed orange with a creamy white head. Strong banana and grain aroma slightly sweet. Light hefe flavors: banana, citrus, other indiscriminate fruit flavors, yeast, and strong clove and pepper spice near the finish. The spices are a little heavy handed and the "tropical fruitiness" is more apparent than in other hefes, but not a lot that sets this above other hefes. Smooth medium body but still prickly carbonation. Drinkable and decent.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow with a off white head. Aroma is full of banana and fruit. Taste is very fruit and not as bread dough as others. Finish has that warm clove to it.

Just like a good hefe it smells of banana and clove with malt and yeast. Hazy golden orange color with a white head. Lacing is very strong. Taste was excellent and full bodied with bread, banana, some clove, and fruit that reminded me of melons. Extremely refreshing and a top notch Weissbier!

Hazy amber with a light tan head. Nice fruity yeasty hefe aromas with tart wheat. Medium body. Very tasty malty yeasty flavors of banana nut bread with mild spicy clove. Lingering banana bread finish. Great hefe.
