Commercial Description:
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Bottle. Big creamy head, quick dissipation. Hazy orange honey color. Smells bready, yeasty, bit citrusy. Hits with a lot of banana, bread, bit of caramel, spicy finish. Soft and luxurious at first but a bit astringent and stinging at the finish. German wheat through and through.

Mini growler from Half-Time. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber. Small creamy white head vanishes almost immediately. Sweet wheat with clove and banana on the nose. Very low carbonation in a somewhat thin mouthfeel with a light clean finish. Pretty solid overall, but a little lighter body wise than I would like.

Draft at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours a golden sheen color, with a huge fluffy white head and lacing. Bright citrus nose, zesty, banana, and cinnamon. Flavors of smooth maltyness, some caramel, tea and lemon. Medium-bodied, smooth, nice creamy mouthfeel. Pretty damn good overall.

[bottle] Refreshing sour and sweet aroma with bubblegum, a touch of clove, and a corriander note. Cloudy, light orange-brown wwith a lasting, white, flanel blanket. Sweet clove bubblegum estery flavour with yeast and some wheat sourness. Very low bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, sweet finish.

Bottled, 500ml, from Booths, Longton, Lancs. Clouded gold with white head. As Weissbiers go, this is one of the better versions and that is because of subtlety, restrained spiciness even though there is the banana, esther, clove notes there. Yeasty with a baked bread character in a wheaty body. Quite reasonable.
