S: Very nice aroma of wheat, yeast, and citrus fruit. Nothing in the aroma is overpowering, yet still present enough to be present with every sip.
T: This is a great-tasting hefeweizen... smooth and refreshing with yeast and wheat, and lots of orange. Some spices are present (especially pepper). Excellent!
M: Medium-bodied and creamy, with average carbonation.
D: I think maybe the best hefeweizen I’ve ever had. I could drink it all night. BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA

That’s Hefeweizen perfection. Perfect balance between the sweet grain and sour mash flavors and ending in that refreshing tanginess I love so much. Could use a little more aroma but then, if it smelled stronger the flavor wouldnt balance as well. Im impressed.

Flavor tends towards sweet, yet with the classical banana-yeast undertones. Sehr gut! mohawksin (187), Nebraska, USA

Many bubbles still rising, looks very nice. Nice blend of malt and yeast in the taste. Feels a little light, very refreshing. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA

Murky orange-yellow body with a good inch to inch and a half of off-white head that dissipates slowly. Smells sweet and fruity, like banana, nut, spice. Tastes like banana, nut, and malty sweetness. Rich creamy mouthfeel. Very very drinkable. A fantastic hef. One of the best I’ve had. Crosling (1856), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 28, 2005 Hazy yellow color with a large froth. Vibrant clove, vanilla and banana aromas, with light hints of caramel, tart winter wheat, toffee and sweet tarts. Big body for a weiss, with a noticeable alcohol flavor. Rich and juicy flavor, doughy and loaded with malt and yeast flavors. Vanilla, caramel, toffee, clove and banana. It’s very soft and balanced and isn’t tart in the flavor at all, which I like. Very nice, probably my favorite hefeweizen thusfar. iamqueensblvd (233), , Iowa, USA
