Feb 7, 2009 50 cL bottle at Olearys Malmö Central, 5.4%. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully golden. Dry malty and slight metallic aroma. Flavour too is mild metallic with a light malty to breadish note. Ends mild malty and metallic. Clean though.

Aroma of malts and hay with notes of caramel.
Flavour of malts and hay with notes of sulpur and caramel.
Bitter finish.

Jul 26, 2008 Pours a one finger white head that fades quickly, leaving a trace of lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Hoppy nose. Jul 26, 2008 Updated: Aug 31, 2008Can. Pours a golden colour with a thin head. The aroma is very light with hint malt. The flavour is also very light, notes of malt and some bitterness. Nothing special, better than most of the Finnish bulk lagers, but not much more.

Jun 18, 2008 Although it’s praised by many, I can’t make any difference between Karhu and rest of the finnish lagers. Looks, smells and tastes painfully ordinary. Drinkable but nothing special.
