Nicely malty aroma and overall a pretty decent beer for a bulk lager. Easy and quite mild.

This poured a deep golden body in the midst of which an impressive torrent of carbonation surged to the small but thick and persistant white head making this possibly the fizziest lager I’ve had. The nose was weak, but kinda nice, fruity, caramelly maltiness ruptured from time to time by dust and just a hint of acidity. The taste is kinda weak as well, but balanced. A weak astringent/bitter hopiness forms the background and the aftertaste, and the maltiness, too subdued, but fruity and pleasant makes the front. Notes of lemon and a really weak hint of alcohol round it up. This does its job quite well, and I’ve had far worse.

0.5 cl can, best served cold and malty, dark brown beer. One of the best beers in Finland.

330ml bottle. Malty taste. Best of the finnish pale lagers. Not much to say about it.

Draught on Silja line ferry between Stockholm and Helsinki. Dark brownish beer with a lightly dry and malty aroma and a malty and mildly dry flavour. Overall a standard mainly malty and lightly dry beer.

Bottle. Nice pale yellow. Virtually no head at all. A typical Finnish bulk beer with an inch of character. Easy to drink and fortunately easy to forget too.

Yellow colour and thin white head. Thin and simple lager with balanced flavor. But there is nothing interesting.

330ml bottle. One of the only Finnish number IIIs with some real hoppiness, but still just another mass-produced pale lager.
