The best of Finnish basic/bulk lagers. Not much hop. Somewhat darker than the most of Finnish competitors and beer has certain edge comparing to eg. Lapin Kulta III, but differences are not very big. Good beer with food and after sauna. (5/3/5/4/11 2.8)
Re-rate, can brewed in Kerava (BB 01/2005)
Dark-honey lager color, foamy head with lace. Aroma is metal, rubber and malts. Malty, metallic flavor, quite similar to Koff III. Long nice malty aftertaste. (3/2/4/2/7 2.0)

Bottled. Golden, frothu head. A sweet and pungent aroma. Thin and way too much carbonation. Sourish and maybe a bit malty.

(Canned, "Pori 450 Edition") Paleish golden with a smallish, white and lightly lacy head. Slightly sweet, grainy aroma with hints of aromatic hops. Grainy-starchy-malty flavor with some honey sweetness, and light, aromatic hoppiness. Light to medium body with medium, sharp carbonation. Drinkable, but the starchy feel is either good or bad, depending on the taster.

Golden, , thick light head, which disappears quickly, some lace. Aroma is flowery, somewhat fruity, slightly musty, light malty. Rather light, slightly carbonated body. Flavor is slightly bittered, light malty, slightly dry.

Comes in a nice 500ml can, which is great for packing in a suitcase and bringing from Finland to NYC. Though I wonder now why I bothered. An extremely mild, easy-drinking lager devoid of much flavor.

(500 ml can). Typical pale golden pilsener colour, good thick head, nice lacing. There is nothing offensive in aroma or flavour - just too little of everything. "Clean" taste as far as there is any flavour at all - with a little more hops, this could have been a reasonably good lager.
