56,8cl can, bbe 21/02/2009. Clear, coppery brown hue accompanied by a firm and frothy off-white head. Slick and malty with aromas of caramel, cookies and toffee. Behind that a salty, brothy essence evenly matched by leafy, dusty hops. Alcohol is apparent, but not overly so. Though there are some bold malts here they feel painted over a thin, papery base. The flavour opens with a raw sugar sweetness, some caramel and broth. Dry, leafy bitterness and cutting alcohol linger into the lengthy finish. Again a feeling of paper thinness is evoked despite the fullish body and lively carbonation. And yet, it’s really not that bad of a beer in the scheme of things. A bit brothy, but no terrible off-flavours, and at least there are some malts and hops to the affair. Sub-average, but drinkable.

Bottle 0,33l. Yellowish reddish brown color with ok head and lacing. Aroma is weak and little bit malty but a lot of alcohol can be observed. Flavors are sweet malt, a hint of fruits and a lot of alcohol. Aftertaste is unpleasant. ...

Bottle 0,33l. Dark golden brown colored. A creamy lasting head. Sourish aroma. Strong flavor dominated by roasted malt. A bit too carbonated. Aftertaste of sweet paper. Some dry bitterness in the finish. Alcohol shining through. KI=7

Pours clear with dark copper colour. Quite harsh, hoppy taste. A bit metallic. Short unpleasant aftertaste. This was a slightly disappointing experience.

330ml bottle. Tasted in an IVB blind tasting. Tosi vahva does not mean "special strength", it means more like "truly strong". Deep orange, mouldy-looking head. Metallic aroma. Odd sour mushroomy taste accompanied by some otherwise fairly bland malt. Occasional taste of swimming pool, and as a bonus a mysterious bit of "nasty".

Bottle @ Oluthuone Kaisla, Helsinki, Finland. Dark brown beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly malty and the flavour is slightly roasted and quite weakly malty. Overall a plainly malty and weakly dry beer.
