(Draught@Kaisla) Clear, dark copper with a small, tanned, lasting head. Toffee-caramely aroma with a touch of chocolate. Flavor is caramely with some sweetish marmalade and aromatic hops, and a faintly roasty, a bit metallic hint. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Ok and has some character, but not quite my favorite style.

Nov 18, 2009 Draught (Kitty’s, Helsinki) - Brown with some red tinges. Fruity and malty aroma with raisins and caramel detected. Fruity taste with malt, dried fruit, caramel and a hint of marzipan.

Clear dark reddish brown colour with small off-white head. Caramel/toffee aroma. Dark fruits, roasted malt, crisp hops and caramel in flavour. Quite fizzy. Not bad at all.

weak dusty aroma, some light maltiness and caramel. tingly carbonation. simple taste, mostly a rich maltiness, some roasty, almost burnt corners. hops are fresh. green, and tasty.

Dark ruby color, small off-white head. Caramelly and slightly chocolaty nose, kind of Karhupanimo house aroma for their dark lagers. Decent medium-body. Crisp carbonation. Caramel malty with milk chocolate notes, finishing with light hoppy notes, but overall quite sweet, very much Finnish Christmas beer -like. Another Karhupanimo’s drinkable session craft brew without flaws ... these just keep coming now a bit too similar.
