on tap-pours a patchy off white head and amber color. Aroma is light/medium malt-caramel. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel, some sharpness (crystal malt?), faint light/earthy hops, light fruit. Light/medium body.

Draft at Islands. Amber pour, served with ice shards therein. So, I waited for the ice to melt and the beer to warm a bit. Aroma and flavor of lightly roasted lager malt, and a little spice. Very mild, but not bad.

On draft at Karl Strauss Universal City, 11/26/07. Clear, honey gold. Nice head retention. Fleeting smell of spice in nose. Agreeable, mellow malt character. No hops to speak of. Lingering corn on finish. Meh.

Draft at the downtown brewpub. Light caramel aroma. Clean amber color with a white head. A bit thinnish. Moderate carbonation. Starts with caramel malt, underlaid by a harsher malt note. Not a great deal of bitter. Clean finish with detectable bitter. It meets the style.

On tap at Karl Strauss. Golden brown amber with creamy white head. Crisp clean malty taste with notes of toffee and bread.
