Very smooth and drinkable, sweet nutty taste, just right on the palate - not too light not too heavy. Easy to drink and goes great with any meal.

Bottle: Light copper colour. Sweet aroma of berries, caramel. Taste is sweet and fruity, nice bittersweet and full of character.

This is a delicious, malty flavored beer. A fine Bavarian lager, I like it quite a lot.

Surprised by the reviews. I had it at LAX, and have been trying to get some of it ever since.

Had this great Amber on tap during a recent trip to San Diego. Was glad I had the chance to try such a well done beer. Loads of toasty malt in the aroma and flavor. Fairly assertive spicy hop nose and pleasant subtle bitterness. A luscious, complex Amber brew overall. I wish I could get my hands on more!!

A nice dark lager, crisp and easy drinking. Poured with a cream colored head that lasted halfway through glass; some lacing. Clear, medium amber color. Subtle floral hop bouquet; sweet caramel malt in the nose; some acidity acidity and green apple. Palate is firm bodied with a crisp carbonation; softens as the glass warms. Flavor starts with malt sweetness and crisp acidity which carries to mid-palate where a hint of green apple emerges briefly before finishing somewhat dry with a residual malt sweetness; pleasant yeasty-bready aftertaste. Mild hop bitterness evident throughout. I wouldn't hesitate bringing this to a gathering.
