A bit of plumminess and a soft toasted rye component. Lightly fruity and malty. A touch of black pepper and a touch of booziness. Soft and chewy with a light clovey character. As it warms, a nice raisiny baked christmas pudding component comes to the fore. Really much better than I expected and a pretty solid dubbel. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA

Smells sweet bready and yeasty with a good amount of sweet dark fruit. Raisins and plums, ripe and red. Tastes about the same. Sweet with dark, ripe fruits and yeast, bread, clove flavors. Medium body, good carbonation. Nice. Get it with the cheese and fruit plate if offered. Awesome. This brew goes well with some sugar. Dogbrick (2864), Columbus, Ohio, USA
