This beer was sweet and fruity in both nose and flavor. Was a dark red in color with a brownish white head. I remember that I smashed a growler of this about a year ago and I havent seen it since. It got me drunk to the point of blacking out. I also remember it being pretty heavy and alcoholic. Rock and roll for blacking out. Karl Strauss.com

beer pours dark orange with a too rapidly dissipating head. Aroma is malty and yeasty. Flavor is quite Belgian dubblish with lots of malt and some fruity esters. Not unbelievable, but more than decent.

Draught at Downtown Karl Strauss Gardens
Hazy amber gold color, no head, light lacing. Nose of tart esters and light funky belgian notes. Way too sweet, undercarbonated and hoppy for a belgian attempt. Light heat in the lfavor with some cherry/strawberry notes. Musky grape finish.

Draft. Red amber beer with no head. Sweet malt aroma with a slight yeastiness. Sweet malt flavor with lemons and peaches and yeast. Refreshing, but some very low playdough flavors.

Fine red color, thick creamy head on top. Can smell the belgian yeast immediately- lots and lots of clove aromas. Medium bodied, lots of alcohol apparent in the taste. Gets a little hard to finish towards the end of the pint because the alcohol overtones are quite apparent. Interesting to try but probably would not go for again.
