Hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Light aroma of banana, peach, orange, and some yeast. Flavors of soft orange, tangerine, peach with a peppery spicy finish. Alcohol is undetectable. Notes say very enjoyable.

Sep 6, 2008 On tap at Karl Strauss Carlsbad. Yellow. Nice microfoam white great head. Sweetish creamy taste. Great mouthfeel. Nice mild Belgian yeast clove and banana aroma. Very good. My favorite Karl Strauss beer so far.

May 26, 2008 On tap @ Hamilton’s San Diego. Sweet Georgia peach comes through in the aroma of this sunset orange hazed brew. Citrus, banana, and buttermilk biscuits linger on the palate. Alcohol is invisible. A great beer; would love more from this brewer if this is the caliber they tend to put out.

May 25, 2008 On tap @ Hamilton’s S.D. Pours a slightly hazed sunny yellow with some lacing. Banana and were the predominant aromas. Flavor was bready and yeasty.....slightly fruity.

May 24, 2008 On tap at Hamiltons. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Sweet pear and banana aroma and taste with a dry citrus finish.

Apr 22, 2008 Draught. F.I. brewed at K.S. La Jolla Little head over hazy orange beer. Fusels, esters à gogo, obviously very "willed" Belgian. Rather sweet-fruity (orangerind, strawberry) flavour, obviously, again, (too) warm-fermented... Medium bodied, outspoken alcohol presence. A lot of USA brewers really don’t get the real tripel, no, try as they might. Not to mention the spelling of the word, in endless variations.
