Rich chocolate, nutty, and roasty aroma and taste with a clean crisp finish. I thought this one was pretty good. CaptainCougar (5494), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Sampled at the Carlsbad location on 11/30/06: Pours a mostly opaque with a spotty-lacing light tan head. Toasty grainy malty aroma has some light fruit notes and a lager yeast profile. Body starts effervescent and lightly sweet with some dark caramel and a touch of raisins toward a bready dark German malty finish. Pretty true to style. goldtwins (4081), Nesconset, New York, USA
