Bottled. Yellow coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of malts and corn. Sweet flavour of malts and corn with a hoppy finish.

Bottle. Gold-amber beer with an off-white head. Low malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor with some grass/spice hops (even some citrus). Fairly clean and light flavor.

Draft at Outback Steak House. My least favorite of the Karl Strauss beers. Golden color with thin head. Thinly bodied. Thinly hoppy. thinly malty. Thin yeasy flavor. Thin is a good theme here. RRAJRBDC -.03

Very clear, golden body. Not much head, very thin. Aroma has hints of citrus and malt. Very very mild.

Clear golden coloured body with no head at all. Aroma of light cardboard, some hops and a small maltiness. Light-bodied; Small coriander seed flavour with some malt (wheat perhaps?) and hop flavour. Aftertaste clean and mild-nothing crazy. Overall, a nice summer-not horrible but not amazing at all. I had this draught beer from Terminal 7 at LAX on 31-May-2004.

I was kind of envisioning a blonde ale when I was drinking this, not a bohemian pils. It was a golden color with a moderate head. The flavor was somewhat malty with a very mild hop presence. There was a certain sweet lemony flavor to it. Ok for a hot day but why fool with this stuff in SD, there is sooo much better. Overall average.

(12 oz bottle) Bohemian pilsener? I think not; It’s not malty, it’s not smoky, it’s not even remotely hoppy, it’s just very sweet, sugary and floral; What’s that in the finish? Vanilla? I’m trying to identify the familiar flavor, but this crappy beer isn’t worth any more effort; The palate is sweet and a bit cloying; Rather sweet and sugary nose has aromas of a cheap, sweet blended white wine; Yellow in color and head size and retention are below average; Yet another poor effort from Karl Strauss; I wish they’d move to LA and wipe this blemish off the list of San Diego County breweries

On a hot summer day this beer is cool and refreshing. Its light bodied and light flavored so you can just keep refreshing yourself again and again. Nothing special here.
