Clear bright golden amber color. Malty, grainy nose. Biscuity, all malt palate, very sweet, almost too much, no hop bitterness. Lingers biscuity and sweet in the aftertaste. Too sweet, but then they didn't brew this for my tastes.

Pours gold with minimal head. It pisses me off these guys have all the resources to do better, but don't.

This brew pours with a clear golden body topped by a medium thick white head with some lacing left behind. The aroma is slightly sweet, malty and fruity (apples, pears) with a slight grassy hop note. The flavor is sweet, malty and fruity (pears) with a grassy hop note and a slight yeastiness. Light bodied, tingly from the carbonation and slightly dry.

Not much flavor but refreshing when served cold. Watery and subtle. Almost no bitterness.

I had this at Disney California Adventure Park, which was a nice summer setting to enjoy this pint. Crisp and clean. Pretty malty with a sweet, tart flavor. I was expecting more bitterness from this pilsener, however.

Fairly simple bohemian pilsner...more of a flavored water for beer drinkers in the mild southern californian summers. I figured with the summer solstice having recently passed it was time to break out a few summer beers..so this was the first. Very mild wheats, hops and a citric aroma undertone. The pour was very light gold with a definite soapy and dissipating white head. The flavor is simple and crisp...some citric and apricot notes...a hint of hops..and a distinct dry bite finish. Definitely a good complement to pasta and shrimp :)....Dry palate..some malt in the finish..also some raw grain feeling. Decent but nothing spectacular.

I liked this as a lighter, summer version of the basic Karl Strauss. I'll get another case next year.
