Crisp and clean. Pretty malty with a sweet, tart flavor. I was expecting more bitterness from this pilsener, however. DrunkAsASkunk (847), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 28, 2003 Fairly simple bohemian pilsner...more of a flavored water for beer drinkers in the mild southern californian summers. I figured with the summer solstice having recently passed it was time to break out a few summer beers..so this was the first. Very mild wheats, hops and a citric aroma undertone. The pour was very light gold with a definite soapy and dissipating white head. The flavor is simple and crisp...some citric and apricot notes...a hint of hops..and a distinct dry bite finish. Definitely a good complement to pasta and shrimp :)....Dry palate..some malt in the finish..also some raw grain feeling. Decent but nothing spectacular. tomseaman (35), Alpine, California, USA
