Karl Strauss Endless Summer Light

On tap. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Lightly malty nose. Light body with a light malt feel and a dry finish. 070709

Draft at the Carlsbad location. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with a light skunky note due to lack of malt, but also a light malt note. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw on a lightly malty back ground, leading to a dry lightly bitter finish. 15 IBU’s. Was told it was at 3.4% ABV.

Bottle thanks to Snojerk321. Ah, the ubiquitous pale lager. Pours super pale yellow with a sticky fizy head that is a film. Nose is a bit skunky and sulfuric with a metallic tinge. Tastes like paper and hard water. Actually, not god awful.. Decent.

From the tap poured a clear golden color with a fair amount of head. light refreshing flavor with a quick finish.

Thanks to Lagunitasfan for this brew. 12oz bottle. Pours clear pale gold with small white head. Aroma is grainy with light fruits. Flavor is light and crisp with light fruit and grain with some sweetness. Not bad for a summer brew. Hard to beleive MGD 64 has a higher abv than this brew.

(11/2/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in downtown San Diego. 3.4%. Clear pale golden color with a white head. Aroma has graininess and cereal. Sweet grainy flavor with some husky notes. Light-bodied.

On-tap at the SD Airport. Don’t go to this Karl Strauss, the food is awful. Airplane food, on the ground. Pours slightly hazy, straw yellow with a medium size white head, some lace. Smells malty grainy and slightly light fruity sweet. Tastes light and sweet fruity up front with lots of cereal malt on the finish. Lingering sweetness. Medium body, vibrant carbonation.
