Darkish golden in color. Sweet, roast corn aroma, with the lightest hints of apple. Very subtle flavor, corny, and very cidery. Not much by way of hops, a very slight bitterness in the aftertaste, and a very dry finish. Kind of watery. It’s not amazing by far, but it’s tolerable, and as far as most American lagers go that’s saying a lot.

From tap at the brewpub in Carlsbad. Pours clear and pale yellow with a diminished white head. Mild fruity hops aroma. Light hoppy and mild peach fruity flavour. Light fruity finish.

This light was tasted at the brewery on B and Columbia in San Diego. It was a typical light beer very little taste. I am not a fan of any light beers.

~Pours a light golden color with small white head. ~Light biscuity scent with light malt and hops. ~Taste biscuity and watered down. ~Feels light and dry ~Great beer for when it is hot out. Not much flavor. Goes down smooth and easily drinkable.

Clear golden with a mammoth, rocky head. Crisp, malty aroma with slight earthy hops. The flavor is dominated by biscuit malts with a ever so faint fruit tone. Smooth, clean body. The aroma is off-putting, but the flavor isn’t all that bad. Overall it’s pretty boring, though.

Pale gold with thin, white head / Light grain nose / Light body, crisp, clean / Simple but clean and smooth flavors of malt and wheat / Very pleasant for a light, although I had mine ice cold.

No aroma. Light color. Very thin and ricy, not so good. Has a small bite at the end that keeps it interesting. Very smooh. I would maybe rather drink this than the Woodie Gold.
