Nov 2, 2007 On tap @ Hamilton’s. Pours amber with a thin tan head. Nose is full of hops with a malty edge. Nice taste big bite more like an IPA lots of hops really nice drinkable bold beer.

Oct 30, 2007 On tap at Karlfest and Hamilton’s. Pours with an orange amber body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. It’s bitter and hoppy with notes of pine, grapefruit and hay, and has a nice underlying maltiness giving it a touch of balance. Medium bodied, smooth yet a touch dry.

Oct 27, 2007 Tried on tap at Green Flash Brewery. I want to say this was brewed in conjunction with two brewers from Karl Strauss. Nice 1 finger creamy microbubble head. Amber color. Nice hoppy bitterness. Hop aroma is mild relative to the bitterness. Interesting bitterness, which is not quite grapefruit. Super easy to drink pizza beer. 3.9-4.0. Overall 17-18.
