Commercial Description:
Even if you don't help load and unload ships down at the docks, sharing a pint of Industrial Porter is a helluva way to end your workday. Getting it's name from the dockworkers that made it famous (apocryphal or not), porters are an increasingly popular dark beer. Ours approaches stout strength so it seemed doubly appropriate to name it after the street outside, "Industrial." Porters may seem like potent beers but ours is only 6% alcohol by volume. Try it with a homemade Chicken Pot Pie. Despite a combination of myth, rumor, and truth about its origin, we do know that porters were originally brewed in London in the 1700's (Source: WikiPedia). It gets its color from the use of highly dried brown malt.

Draft at the brewpub. A black beer with a red shine under a brown head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of brown sugar and spices - especially cinnamon. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wood and roasted malt lending it a slight acidity.
