Borresteijn (588), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 20, 2008 Bottle @ home. This beer was very bad, all the flavours were off. Very sour-bitter, rotten fruit, skunky hops. Maybe a bad bottle, definitely something for a re-rate. BoBoChamp (734), Gent, Belgium Jul 26, 2008 33cl, from Geers Oostakker, easy to drink, not complex, cloudy, nearly no head, nothing special nearbeer (1334), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 12, 2008 33 cl, bbe 2008/02/17. Opaque orange-amber with a lasting one-finger head. Aroma is pears and peaches poached in brown sugar; musty leather, and a splash of rum. Flavors of tart berry, pear, raisin, brown sugar, a twist of orange-lime juice, a touch of wooden cask, resin, leather and some earthy-spiced funk. Light-medium body is dry, tingly and a little frothy. Good summertime session brew. gam (580), brisbane, Australia May 25, 2008 Great big ead cos the uckin fing woodin opin @#$@%#$.Jolly nice carbonation, misty yellow to gold pour.Aroma nutty, fruit, hops.Flavour melon, sour taste of lime, seems to be good mixture of flavours.Finish full hops and flavour, dry okay. blutt59 (798), Dallas, Texas, USA May 25, 2008 bottle, cloudy yellow color, no head whatsoever, this must have been a bad bottle, offputting taste, I could not finish
