Strong aroma of tart cherries. Flavor is slightly cherry medicine filled, tart, lightly spiced carbonation. Alcohol pretty well hidden, warming palate. Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England

I do not speak Flemish so did not know that cherry juice was added:. Purple with pink ass small head..legit cherry smells...legit cherry cherry flavours. Not sour @ all. A nice chick beer sipper though to get you wasted weighing in @ a heafty 8 % . Aubrey (2777), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Deep crimson with a pink head. Very vibrant cherry nose. Full and chewy mouthfeel. Wholesome, earthy and oaky, with lightly toasted caramel notes. Hint of bitterness but the sweetness definitely ruled. Pretty good flavors and aromas but the sweetness was a bit too much for me. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 10, 2008 Kasteel rouge...if that is your real name. Pours a beautiful deep red with a pink head that quickly dissipates, yet never disappears. First impression is good until I give it a whiff. Strong jolly rancher fake cherry smell...not a good sign. First sip is much the same and a real put-off. Luckily, I set this down and forgot about it for awhile and came back. Much better after it warmed up quite a bit, but that fake smell never left.
