750ml bottle. Pours cherry red and amber colored with a head that has a reddish tint to it. The cherry aroma is unmistakable. Sweet and zingy. An overall nice flavor. The grain bill is substantial enough to hold the powerful cherry flavor. I don’t know if they needed to add the cheery juice, the fruit in my opinion, would have been enough and probably would have accentuated the sour flavor that is there, but light and over powered by sweet. Medium wet mouth feel and body. In final summary, you can’t help to compare this to cough drops, but in this case it was a particularly yummy cough drop.

Brown beer with red highlights and a pink head. Aroma is intense with a sweet and sour cherry note. Also has some balsamic vinegar in there, too. Taste is overly sweet with only a bit of acidity to balance it out. Couldn’t pick up on any real funk as one would see in a kriek. Tastes like carbonated Nyquil.

Draft, after meeting Illinismitty for beers. Pours a dark ruby red color with no head. Strong aroma of CHERRIES. The flavor was mainly sweet black cherries. Light acidic sour notes in the finish. Good stuff

bottle. Ruby red pour with a pink head. Aroma is cherry. Taste is all cherry, sweet in the begining and then sour as it warmed. Covered the alcohol quite well.

Tap - dark ruby with a purplish/pink light layer of foam that quickly subsides into faint bubbles around the rim of the glass. Ample carbonation present as bubbles race to the surface through out. Aroma predominantly of sweet cherries. Flavor is initially sweet black cherry and berries which gives way to a tart finish and spritzy carbonation on the tongue with a very faint hint of alcohol but nothing to indicate 8%.

Pours deep ruby with a champaign like red/pink head that dissapates quickly. Aroma of cherry juice, barn, wood. Taste starts with tart cherries, with a dry woody flavor that just seems off or hollow somehow.
