| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2009 On tap at Track 84 - Warwick, RI. Fresh wet black cherries in the
nose with some strong citric acid and light honeyed sweetness.
Pours a murky bright red-brown, with a creamy off-white head.
Flavor is dominated by a lightly sweet straight sour cherry
juice. The sweetness of the malt in the beer plays off the cherry
sourness and gives decent balance, despite a somewhat thin body.
Yeast character or much beer flavor are missing. Somewhat
shallow. malrubius (1002), Valley Stream, New York, USA
