(Bottle) Pours brown with red notes. Earthy, dark fruit, raisin aroma with some dark cherries and notes of funky chocolate. Very sweet and sugary. Caramel to candy. Thick mouthfeel. Very sweet flavour with raisins and brown sugar in the finish. Maybe some dark fruits. Big body with some alcohol.

very dark murky brown with a small off white head. Aroma is dark fruits, caramel, and spices. Taste is caramel, toffee, alot of fruit notes, sweet, almost to the point of being cloying but not quite. Sweet finish with spices. as with most belgians, better and more complex as it warms.

Dark brown with a nice appley malty aroma, which comes through in the taste. It is quite smooth, nicely carbonated, and works well with the high alcohol. This deliciousness of this product made my grandma smile $8/750ml

Dark brownish red with a small head, good lacing, average retention. Aroma is plums, dark sugars, chocolate, caramel, berries. Flavor brings this all with a slight alcohol burn that lingers, but you’d never guess 11%. Extremely delicate smoothness for a beer like this. Quite sweet, but very enjoyable. Man, it’s been too long since I’ve had a nice Belgian.

Small light beige head. Dark red translucent body. Tight vinuous peppery aroma of licorice and alcohol with notes of chocolate. Quite harmonic. Taste is deep, sweet licorice and chocolate, with strong spicy notes, and a cardamom finish. Very harmonic, and hard to analyze, but very, very nice. Quite a bit of alcohol heat, and you can taste a little alcohol as well. (0.33l bottle.)

Gentle nose of light sweet malt with some spiced fruit. Pours muddy dark brown with a quickly thinning head and some lace. Flavour is rich toffee malt with a lingering plum pudding finish with brandy notes and figs.

2004 Bottle from Big C Liquors in WInter Park, FL.
The dark brown body of this beer is murky and holds a thumb thick, creamy tan head that diminishes slowly.
Has a brown sugar laden, sweet bread and raisin accented aroma. Very sweet and cake/bread-like aroma.
Fore is brown sugar, sweet malt, some mild bitter toastiness, raisin, all spice. Warming alcohol is quite present through the middle and into the finish. A bit dusty in the far finish. Carbonation is soft, but noticeable. Overall a touch too sweet, but not terribly so. The alcohol is a bit hot.

Dark reddish brown colored pour with a sweet fruity, yet spicy aroma. Strong sweet brown sugar like finish. Too sweet for me.
