| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2006 dark brown color and a small creamy off white head that strangely coats the outside of the glass as you drink it. caramel, toffee malt aroma. really sweet. the sweetest belgian i’ve tried. caramel, plum, raisins, other dark fruits, candy. tons of sugar. this stuff must rot your teeth faster than cola. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 16, 2006 Bottle. Pours with a look not unlike cola. Aroma is practically non-existent. Taste is of alcohol (pretty well hidden for the 11%, though) and sugar/caramel. Nothing exciting at all about this beer, went in the sink after three sips. iowaherkeye (1873), Los Angeles, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 6, 2006 Bottle courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear dark reddish-brown with a spare diminishing off-white head. Sweet aroma of malt, dark fruit, yeast, sugar and alcohol. Flavour’s just as sweet, a touch too much for me. Tastes of caramel malt, brown sugar, dark fruit, spices and yeast with a mildly bitter alcoholic dry finish. Medium bodied. This is pretty decent but it doesn’t knock my socks off, I’m just not into overly sweet Belgians. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
