| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2009 Not cool at all. I swore I had rated this and is no here. So I am doing this from a very foggy memory...I remember it being average. Yeasty, smooth and soft. Some nutmeg and clove but mainly overshadowed by the 11% something alcohol. Kind of sweet on the end but that could be due to the alcohol. milljam (569), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Not the best Tripel out there. Pretty dry and bland in the flavor. Not much fruitiness at any point in the beer. I guess its good if you like big alcohol beers with no alcohol presence, but you could do better than this. Noelweichbrodt (11), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Clear, clean, plain tripel with a really smooth mouth and not a lot of drama in flavor or spice. Just enough sour spice to remind you it’s a tripel and nor Bud Light. A session beer, but not at 11% abv! jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 6, 2009 Wasn’t terribly impressed with this as a Tripel. It was really dry, didn’t have a whole lot of fruitiness to it. Alcohol wasn’t a player, but that didn’t add any plusses. Nothing special. WabashMan (802), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Pretty tame, as far as Tripels go. The flavors are good, but unremarkable, lacking any strong yeast or spice notes. Strangely, there wasn’t much of an alcohol player, despite the very high ABV. Normally, I wouldn’t mind, but given the lack of great flavor to begin with, such added elements might have improved this beer. Nordcore (278), North of, Norway
