Dec 18, 2005 The evening "on tap" standard at ’t Cafeeke.
Always poured a deep gold color with the requisite small white head. Nice yeasty notes in the nose, with a big sweet malt edge. Lotsa alcohol in the taste..more sweet malt and yeastiness. I loved this stuff. Some bitterness in the end, but not much.

Nov 30, 2005 Hazy golden with asmall white head. smells like a strong blond, yeasty with some swet malt. Flavor issweet and slightly spicy, with citrus and alcohol. Would probaly benefit from some ageing, but as I tried it, it was too unbalenced to be really drinakble

Nov 29, 2005 Aroma of citrus, vanilla, yeast and malt, opague amber, tiny small firm white head, light lace. Tastes of lemon, pear, malt and yeast. Full bodied, tongue tingle, probably from the 11%, sweet and bready. Very good.

Aroma of fruits with notes of spices and light acidic notes.
Fruity flavour with notes of spices and alcohol.
Powerfull, but too much alcohol.

Nov 18, 2005 Bottle from Auchan, Calais. Golden beer, no head. Nice fruity hoppy nose. Some syrupy sweetness is evident. Extremely carbonated and actually quite hard to swallow due to this. Golden syrup flavours in mouth and then some hop on the end which is both herby and sweet tangerine. Just a tad too strong for me.
