A bit of hoppy bitterness at the beginning and then some subtle spice and pear/apple flavors. Totally awesome. Very drinkable, but not a chug beer at all. Bubbly like champagne-ish brews. At first taste the immediate response was "oh, this is a fruitier Duvel." But it is much more than that. Really good. Papsoe (14982), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Holy shite for a beer. First a touch of sweetness, the an overwhelming, dry spiciness lasting the whole way through. Dry more than bitter. Extremely complex and refined. Great intense carbonation. Not a very strong aroma. Taste is delicious. First second and third sensations are alcohol burn. Great medicine flavor. Burning man palate. I think this is an awesome triple. Nice amount of yeast crud in the bottom of the bottle. Initial sweetness gives rise to epithelial fixation in response to the ethanol dehydration of the mucosa. Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer pours a medium golden color with a large white head. The mouthfeel is moderately thick. The flavor is very sweet with some spiciness, a bit of tang and a yeasty finish. There is alcohol burn on the finish as well. The spiciness lingers on the tongue.
