Commercial Description:
Ein starkes, helles, untergäriges Bier. Es ist weder süß noch wuchtig, sondern herb und frisch – wie das Allgäu im Frühjahr!

Wow. Nice. First impression. Malty first sip and the same from thereon. Quite nice, though a bit on the malty side for me.

500ml bottle Heller Belli Bock bottle. Light golden color with a faint cloudiness. Very sweet and rich, with the pungent malt/yeast characteristics of a Maibock. Fruity tastes dance around the moderately high alcohol. A little more of a floral aroma and mild hop character than a lot of Bocks. Great beer, for the true German Lager lover.

Aroma of corn sweetness mixed with a little roasted malt and something sour. Mild sweet flavors with an even softer finish.

Pours a cloudy gold with a flimsy white head. Smells of sour malt and farm fields. Flavors of malt, apple, banana, with some apricot and hop. Finish is short and clean with little hop and sourness. Quite drinkable.

(on bottle)Clear yellow, white head. This could be one aavarage hardpackin´bock, end of story. Maibocks carry alot of malt and a very warming finish, as do this brew. But there´s a very interesting aromapattern in it. A blend of roastyness, fresh barley and dryness, I´ve never met in such a pale beer. Along with the finish, wich is a mix of spelt and whole-grainmash, this is a very nice beer.

Great label. Pours clear gold with a two-finger white head. Bready, lightly alcoholic, very faintly vegetal aroma. Honey-sweet malt flavor with a tiny bit of alcohol burn. Nearly nonexistent aftertaste. Good and drinkable, but fades much too soon.

Light yellow color. Sweet malt aroma, light flavors of sweet malt, and a light hop note on the end. Decent for this style.

Sweet corny aroma. Appearance is pale yellow with thin white head. Taste is same, and fairly strong at that, with a bit of grass. $3/500ml
