Maibocks carry alot of malt and a very warming finish, as do this brew. But there´s a very interesting aromapattern in it. A blend of roastyness, fresh barley and dryness, I´ve never met in such a pale beer. Along with the finish, wich is a mix of spelt and whole-grainmash, this is a very nice beer. nuplastikk (1209), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Very sweet and rich, with the pungent malt/yeast characteristics of a Maibock. Fruity tastes dance around the moderately high alcohol. A little more of a floral aroma and mild hop character than a lot of Bocks. Great beer, for the true German Lager lover. porterhouse (1160), Alna, Maine, USA

Aroma of honey, bread, hay and something a bit sourish like wet blanket. Mouthfeel quite full, fairly smooth. Taste is kind of a sweet and sour honey/bread/hay with a bit of bitterness. Hint of smoke. Bit of licorice in finish. Liked it but not sure about the light sour/wet blanket aspect. IrishBoy (2718), Bakersfield, California, USA

A hearty Bock that has a great mouthfeel. Simple grain flavor but not much else going on. Good substantial beer. Nothing extraordinary though. This one’s got the basics down. I would buy again. scrizzz (1305), kirkland, Washington, USA
