Commercial Description:

0.5 l bottle from Beerangel. Golden to copper color. Malty and bready aroma. Sweetish slightly toasty bread flavor with honey, hint of herbal hops and hint of metal. Single minded märzen. BB Feb 2010 but tastes stale.

Swing top bottle. Malty aroma with cake dough. Malty sweetish flavor, grassy with flowery and earthy hops. Medium to full bodied. Hints of peach. OK.

[bottle] Sweet base malt and honey aroma with a touch of German hops. Dark gold with some white wisps and a ring. Sweet base malt flavour with a healthy dose of floral, noble hops and almost enough bitterness to balance the sweetness. Faint nutty note as well as some hay. Medium body, sweet finish, moderate carbonation.

Clear light amber color with a small head. No lacing. Smell is of sweet malt and fruits. Taste is also sweet malt with slight notes of raisin and brown sugar. Very small hop notes that are almost non exsistent. Enjoyable and refreshing.

from beerangel.de pours a golden-orange colour with a little foam left, malty aroma with notes of grain and bread; quite full-bodied with some sweetness, slightly oily palate; low bitterness and a long malty and grainy finish with a touch of caramel - very tasty

This has a pretty nice aroma. Very refreshing lager beer, not funky or hoppy or ricy. One of my new favorite marzens, quite nice.

Bottle. The aroma is light sour, malty and grain. The head is medium large, white and foamy with a normal duration. The body is red. The taste is malty, some bread, later on the finish gets a little bit metallic. The body is medium strong with a normal duration and a light oily body.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Orangeish golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grains, rubber and mild notes of earthyness. Flavour is sweet malts along with some bready notes as well as some slight rubbery notes. Ends in a rather dry grassyness along with quite big maltyness. Smooth carbonation.
