| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 28, 2007 Excellent display of carbonation in the clear golden body, sharp white head, solid retention, great lacing, as darned nice as a pilsner can ever look. The aroma was toasted cereal grains and honey. The flavor was sweet cereal (a lucky charms note under it all, in a good way), a toastiness, fruity (odd for a pilsner, but quite nice, almost like a kolsch influence), honey, bready, and finishing with a nice hop shout from grassy, herbal, floral, and metallic hops. Mouthfeel was smooth, finishes dry and sweet (ie. not totally crisp, but good). Over half of the Aktien brews I’ve had have been clear winners, and these all from bottles... if only I get to drink these on draft one day in Deutschland. marcus (1869), Sacramento, California, USA

Aroma is hay and some subtle sweet malt. Slightly sweet malty taste followed by a lingering smooth finish. Very enjoyable for such a light style. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Same general comments this time. More malt than you expect.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2006 Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Aroma has an almost berry sweetness along with grainy malt that has a delicate sweetness. The body is clear light gold/yellow with a slightly diminishing two finger thick tan head.

Lightly sweet fore is a touch watery and followed by sweet malt, cereal grains, a light bitterness in the fore keeps it in check. Fairly enjoyable lager. muenster (340), Sevierville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 6, 2006 Bottle. Pours pale blonde/gold with a small white head. The aroma is full of hayfield qualities, as well as some sweet malts and yeast. This beerr is very dry, and quite refreshing. I don’t usually use the adjective ’refreshing’ when describing a beer, but this beer really is. The flavor is sweet light malts, and a slightly hoppy quality that goes very well with the crisp carbonation. Not usually my choice of beer, but this has definitely peaked my interest in the style. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 6, 2006 This was very nice. Aroma is very clean as is the flavor. A slightly sweet doughy aroma, with some very nice carbonation levels. Just a bit sweet, bit a bit of spicy hoppiness, and a nice amount of citric acidity. Lingering bittersweet finish. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 13, 2006 Lightly hazed straw color with a fingers worth of rather dense off-white foam. Mildly citric aromas coupled with a fresh scone scent. LIghtly spritzy on the tongue.Light pale malt are the players in this one with only a touch of acidic and herbal hops to balance the light sweetness. A rather delicate pils. I am assuming this was only made for export as I see no one from europe has rated this one. AToo much citrus for my tastes. I do have to agree with Ernest that this does get better as it warms.
