A classic soft Bavarian style pils from one of the best midsize breweries in all of Germany. Beautiful long lacing white head, clean totally balanced finish!Great in the bottle, excellent on draught, this brewery is consistantly on style throughout their wide range of offerings.

Pours gold with a generous white head. Smells of pepper, some apples, hints of dry and sweet malt, earthy. Tastes of straw, dry malt, some hints of fruit, pepper. Well balanced.

Bottled. 02.06. Beer is clear, light gold with a small, white, frothy, mostly and rapidly diminishing head.
The aroma is malty with a light note of toasted grain; Moderate hoppy note of herbal straw; Light miscellaneous note of honey.
The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic/dry and lean with a longish, lightly sweet, lingering lightly bitter finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is fizzy.
Minimal, flawless and totally enchanting.

Wow! this is definetly one of the best pils out there.I have this one in stock (I liked it that much). Head is whitish and long lasting. It's very balanced and the aftertaste is almost non existent. I drink this one with a lidded stein and it retains the aroma and flavor better than a conventional glass.

This is exactly what I want when in the mood for a German pils. Very clean, grassy aroma. Bready, malty flavor with the perfect amount of hop bitternes to really round off the beer nicely, but not make the aftertaste too bitter or sharp. I will definitely have this again.

Pours a perfect straw/light golden color with a tall white head made up of the smallest bubbles. Straw and lightly wheat aroma with some nice floral hops. Taste is very crisp and clean with a nice subtle balance and good finishing floral/fruity hops.

Pours a slightly hazy straw colour mit a good sized white foamy head. Some suspended particles floating around in there.Aromas of malt and hops with just a tad of fruit thrown in. Taste is crisp with malt being the predominant flavour and a nice hops bitterness to finish. A nicely balanced pils

Excellent display of carbonation in the clear golden body, sharp white head, solid retention, great lacing, as darned nice as a pilsner can ever look. The aroma was toasted cereal grains and honey. The flavor was sweet cereal (a lucky charms note under it all, in a good way), a toastiness, fruity (odd for a pilsner, but quite nice, almost like a kolsch influence), honey, bready, and finishing with a nice hop shout from grassy, herbal, floral, and metallic hops. Mouthfeel was smooth, finishes dry and sweet (ie. not totally crisp, but good). Over half of the Aktien brews I’ve had have been clear winners, and these all from bottles... if only I get to drink these on draft one day in Deutschland.
