| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2007 Clear light yellow, white head. Decent nose, clean smelling cara pils barley, light yeast esters, light and fluffy hops, crisp smelling and fresh. Thin and almost flavorless taste, lightly crisp but really lacking any real flavor. Disappointing. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Bottle: Pale straw, very clear, large white pillowy head, light carbonation, beaucoup lacing.   Heavy straw nose, not that sweet.
Moreso Hay like.   Barnish straw like flavor.   Somewhat musty, a little basement too.   Mild sweetness, a bit dry.
This is a very pale Märzen.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Heavy straw finish.   Comes across as a heavy Helles crossed with a
pale Bock.   Tiz okay, well balanced, but not that remarkable.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2007 Pours a nice clear gold with a fluffy lasting white head. Looked more like a pils or helles. Sharp doughy aroma with light breay amlts, some yeast, and light herbal notes. Sweetish flavor - more sharp dough and bready/yeasty character with light hops and a very clean crisp finish. Pretty easy drinking buthas a wierd sticky honey-like sweetness that I didnt like. Overall it is pretty decent. IMtheOptimator (1161), Bethel, Connecticut, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Poured a pale effervescent golden with a fizzy white head that dissipated completely. Aroma of crisp grassy saazy hops, giving way to some air freshener and sytrofoam. Flavor is rather bland with a light grassy hoppiness, some malt sweetness, and a dusky sort of leftover taste. Body feels undercarbonated. Comes across like a lackluster pilsener. I’m shocked to find out this is (supposed to be) an Oktoberfest. nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 29, 2007 The aroma is dusty, with caramel and paper. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma with a lightly bitter finish. The palate is thin. This is not what a special beer should be. It’s mostly average and unremarkable. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 10, 2007 From the bottle pours a dusty gold color, very clear, with a soft white head. The malts give a lot of honey sweetness in the flavor and aroma. Light clove quality to the nose and finish from the yeast. Carbonation is light, but strong enough to break up the maltiness of this beer a bit. Finish has a light dose of hops but enough to clean the palate from the honey taste. Nice drinkable brew, could use a touch more hops to counter the sweetness more.
