This beer is simply incredible for its hearty and full flavor, which is somewhat sweet without being overbearing. Its my ideal of a perfect beer. I like a somewhat high alcohol content without corrupting the beer flavor with an alcohol flavor. For me its the best there is, and I’ve had quite a few different kinds. It just oozes with class and quality.

Gold-brown color with nice but shortlived head. Aroma doesn’t reveal much with faint hints of dry hay, cardamon, ginger and cocoa. Flavorful, spicy with juicy hopiness, light malt, spice -- mostly ginger and clove -- and apple. Enjoyable -- nice effervecence and solid alcohol content make this a perfect companion to salty hard pretzels or a good ham and bean soup.

Golden colour. Fresh malt bread nose. Sweet malts, light herbal, continental hops. Well-balanced. Light bitterness. Simply structure but quality flavours.

Bubble gum, cloves, and wonderful spicy goodness are in the air. Golden clarity without seeming washed out, but the head departs. I really enjoy the way the spice like overtones mix with the hops in this, it’s well balanced. It begins with a light bubble gum sweetness, then comes a spicy bitter that dances across the mouth. I need more of this beer.

Light gold color, medium head, with a light malty aroma. A light bodied marzen. Malts are slightly sweet and well balanced by slightly spicy hops. A nice tasting light refreshing beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Nice beer, very drinkable.

Pale yellow with a big, foamy white head. Aroma was slightly sweet. Flavor was sweet and spicy and was very refreshing. Great with food. Good beer for a hot summer day.

Bottle. Sweet aroma is lightly malty with prominent floral hops and a dash of yeast and herb. Touch of apple juice. Clear pale golden, soapy white head and medium-strong carb. Slightly crisp medium body, soft water and a healthy, slightly biscuity malt. Dry, slightly papery aftertaste. Wouldn’t mind this one for lunch, every day for a week.
