Maria (6323), Thisted, Denmark

The aroma is light with notes of clove, wheat and banana. The sweet flavor is light too with light notes of banana, clove and yeast. As a light weiss, this is quite OK. SHIG (2046), Aviano, Italy

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 14, 2009 (bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a big foamy white head. Yeasty and moderately sweet wheat-malty nose with notes of biscuits and fruity notes of citrus and tangerine, accompanied by clovy spice. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light bodied with a rather calm, almost carbonation. Moderately yeasty and wheaty taste with notes of biscuits and a fruity touch, the latter getting stronger during the slim and moderately sweet, also a bit papery finish. Smells good, but the rest is rather mediocre. 14.IX.09 Dedollewaitor (3768), Odense, Denmark
