Commercial Description:
A sensational brew! This is Oktoberfest at its best. Its golden color, its powerful malt and its trace of sweetness, makes this the prime example of a true Oktoberfest beer. Aktien's Okotberfest beer is different from other Oktoberfest beers already on the market in the USA and it is a must to be tasted by any beer lover.

Yellow color clearly. Much limpid one and fizzy. Medium aroma. Determined body but a lot you drink them and fresh.

(500 ml bottle: $2.20 at Hi Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) Whoa! The color is shockingly pale, as in "Coors Light" pale. The aroma is very light, with a vague grainy maltiness. I’m not expecting much out of the flavor, but here goes. Hmm, that’s exactly what I’m getting out of the flavor -- not much! The flavor is as light as the aroma, with mild, grainy maltiness and a bit of sweetness. Minimally hoppy or bitter. The flavor isn’t bad, there just isn’t enough of it. And the finish is over quickly, rapidly fading to a watery nothingness. Thin, watery palate. White head is small on the pour and quickly fades to a sheen, leaving no lacing. In every facet, this is "Oktoberfest Light". Not worth seeking out as there are plenty of better imported German Oktoberfests to be had.

Weird cloudy yellowy appearance, modest head formation. Grainy aroma, pretty subdued hop spice. Slightly syrupy palate, not overwhelming, cookie dough flavor, slight bite in the finish.

Strawberry blond appearance, very light for this style, with a small head. Malty aroma that also displayed some fruit. Taste was a little more rounded with the sweet malts, mild carbonation and modest bitternerness reflected in the flavor. Finish stayed on the sweet side.

not a great oktoberfest, it reminds me of Heineken and I hate that stuff, its kind of skunky and not very flavorful, pours a budweiser gold with off white head and decent lacing. Not impressed

16.9 oz./ 500 ml. brown bottle. Freshness date of 11.02.04 on back label. Poured out a golden yellow pilsener color. Odd for an Octoberfest, if you ask me. Sulphur makes up the nose of this beer. It stunk so bad when I opened it, I had to let it air out for a good long while before I could drink it. Once it aired out, it was a lot better. Hey guys, ever heard of a diacetyl rest? Look into it if you haven’t. Minimal white head, and fizzy carbonation make this a light tasting beer, as well as being too light in color. Tastes are of sulphur, malts, yeast, and candy. Thin mouthfeel, almost like water. It has a noticeable alcohol kick, however, and that’s it’s only redeeming quality. Not too bad, but not too great either.

Pours a golden straw color with not much of a head or lace. Aroma is amazingly faint, but malty. Flavor is lightly sweet from the malt, with light fruits, and a hint of hops. Palate is thick and almost syrupy. Just a bit of carbonation keeps this interesting. Overall it’s a decent offering and worth trying, but there’s better examples of the style out there.

This brew gives off a very refreshing floral hop, light fruity, grassy aroma that really brings out the feeling of summer. A nice golden color with a small white head. Taste is very crisp and refreshing with a light carbonation that brings it to life. Tastes of apple and pear come through with a light malt complex and a good balance from the floral hops at the end. Very refreshing brew that i would love to be able to bring a few of these while camping in the summer.
