Commercial Description:
A sensational brew! This is Oktoberfest at its best. Its golden color, its powerful malt and its trace of sweetness, makes this the prime example of a true Oktoberfest beer. Aktien's Okotberfest beer is different from other Oktoberfest beers already on the market in the USA and it is a must to be tasted by any beer lover.

Hey now if this is a "true" example of an Oktober fest, then US attempts are way off the mark. THis is beer is Yellow Gold in color (not as I expected.. looking for a redder version). Aroma is a nice malt with a certain creaminess about it. The mouth feel is excellent with this product, medium full and a velvety smoothness to it, this is the hight point! Low carbonation, and a nice nobel hop finish (medium bitter for style?) posibly Spalt? Nice beer, although I expected something different... I prefer there Helles Cheers

Light golden color, small white head that had a little staying power but faded to leave little behind. The aroma was semi sweet with a decent light malt and some fruit with a decent but not overly done hop presence. The taste was a little disappointing, lightly malty and some fruit but little on the hops and a mild subdued spicyness. Not real great but not bad eather. It definately could use a little help here and there but it does make a decent brew for the late summer.Well worth trying atleast once and maybe twice, depends on the mood i’m in.

What the heck, a krystal straw hued marzen? Has a fizzy white head and litlle lace. The aroma hints of aromatic and grassy hops, apple, pear, bready malts and yeast esters. The taste is very similar to a amped up pilsner, crisp and clean, lightly citric and fruity, grassy and bready undertones. The mouthfeel is thin for style. Okay, this is not a normal fest brew, but is good never the less.

Beautiful golden color, incrediby clear. The aroma is fruity, but weak. The head had a little bit of thickness to it, but it dissipated quickly. Had a watery feel to it.

Clear light golden body with small white head. Aroma is medium sweet and grassy. Taste is medium sweet, tart, some caramel, grassy, light floral. Crisp light body. Much closer to a pilsner in style than a marzen. Quite enjoyable.

Sweet Bread dough aroma.Blond appearance with small head.Mildly hoppy sweet bread dough, fruity grape flavor. At first I was suprised that only five people have rated this one, after all it is oktoberfest season, but this beer is not how you say "sensational".

Pours a nice translucent amber blond. Small head, surprisingly enough. Nose is lagerish and not as perfumy as I would expect for an Octoberfest style beer. The taste brings me to Germany - crisp hop and malt tongue and finish. Smooth, clean body. Not very complex at all, but still good. I'll get this again!
