Pours a clouded straw gold with a small white head. Nose is light, floral, and with a touch of lemon rhind. Flavor is light and refreshing. Slight wheaty edge with a touch of light sweetness and a slightly present lemon citrus edge. Feel is good. Light on the mouth and a typical carbonation putting tiny bubbles all over your tongue. Definitely drinkable. So light and refreshing, it’d be great on a hot summer day (as opposed to a blithering cold one which I am tasting it on). Worth a try!

Spezialbier Edel. Golden colour with a soft sparkle. Firm bready nose with slightly cheesy, grassy, herbal German hops. The flavour is accented to the sweetish, with herbal hoppiness over top. Balanced, flavoursome and very drinkable.

Bottle: Straw in color, fairly clear, moderate foamy white head, fairly nice lacing, light carbonation.   Straw and grass on the nose, some hay as well.   Pretty straight forward.   Pale malts, straw, grass, and even a bit wheaty on the tongue.   Semi-sweet, becoming slightly dry after the finish.   This one seems a bit more full bodied than your average Premium Lager.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Comes across as a bit starchy.   Grassy finish, slightly wheaty.   Not as crisp as I would have liked, and a bit meatier than most, but still fairly tasty.

Pours clear golden with a small white head that falls fast. Grassy and grainy aroma that has a bit of that sweet wort nose. Bitter in the finish and very clean. Nothing amazing about this beer, but its not offensive in any way.

The aroma is malty and sweet but not overpowering. The hops are floral and slightly herbal. The appearance is unique for a lager in that it’s unfiltered and I like it. The color is golden with a two finger head. The flavor is rich with butter and malt and lightly bitter and herbal. It gives you the impression of herbal sour dough bread. The palate is a little thin but not anything you would not expect from a lager. The flavor is consistent from start to finish with the aftertaste lingering a little. By far one of the best lagers I have had and from the few ratings here also an undiscovered beer.

I did not care for this bottle at all. Tasted slightly dated, with a sour not quite vinous bitterness throughout. Maltiness is reminscent of wet hay, or perhaps hay with this particular bill spilled on it and then left to under a rain soaked tarp.
