The maltiness has a very pale grain flavor that’s reminiscent of wheat and hay, yet is rather prominent compared to the other flavors. Bready, grassy, lightly citrusy and metallic with a mild but unpleasant bitterness in the finish. Very light nose, mostly hay and grain. Body is quite light and even a bit watery in the finish. Carbonation is mild. Straw-yellow body shows a bit of haze, but the slowly rising carbonation bubbles are tiny indeed. The snow-white head pours to half an inch, gradually settling to a thin layer. No lacing. No obvious defects in this beer’s flavor, but I just don’t like the way it tastes. Won’t buy again. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | May 16, 2006 This bottled brew marked 11 03 04 from the World of Beer in St Pete, FL poured a large sized head of foamy white colored fine to medium sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent straw yellow colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was malty with a bready mild fruity banana note. The mouth feel was slightly tingly at the start with a medium tingly finish and a semi thick malty aftertaste. The flavor was malty with a mild hop bread note. An OK brew but nothing special.

The aroma is sweet and wine like and the flavour is quite syrupy and vineous. Overall an OK strong syrupy wine like beer. Saarlander (1583), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jun 18, 2005 Bottle. Sweet malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Initially a sweet malt flavor that turns sour at the finish. Okay but doesn’t come close to the pilseners or weizens - German lagers just don’t measure up like their other beers. Pours a very thin watery color with very little head and no lacing. Aroma is faint. Flavor is weak. Palate is thin. Overall... have a glass of water. Well, not that bad, but this is just another Lager.
