If you like a maltier Helles then this is your baby! Nice pillowy head, deep gold color and packed with malt! The more Helles that you drink the more you are able to pick up the subtle differences in each brewery's offerings! This Edel however is not very subtle it is big and creamy! tastes great on draught but 3-4 glasses will put a sway in your step, take it gently! you won't find many quite like this !!

Spezialbier Edel. Golden colour with a soft sparkle. Firm bready nose with slightly cheesy, grassy, herbal German hops. The flavour is accented to the sweetish, with herbal hoppiness over top. Balanced, flavoursome and very drinkable.

Pours a clouded straw gold with a small white head. Nose is light, floral, and with a touch of lemon rhind. Flavor is light and refreshing. Slight wheaty edge with a touch of light sweetness and a slightly present lemon citrus edge. Feel is good. Light on the mouth and a typical carbonation putting tiny bubbles all over your tongue. Definitely drinkable. So light and refreshing, it’d be great on a hot summer day (as opposed to a blithering cold one which I am tasting it on). Worth a try!

500ml bottle. Light golden yellow color, with a little cloudiness making it not completely transparent. Surprisingly crisp and bitter/spicy, with a doughy, mild finish. Very subtle malt and hop characteristics, a very unique German beer.

Orange gold color, slightly hazy. Medium head. Aroma is malty, fruity. Sweet and grassy. A medium to light bodied helles. Malts are fruity and sweet. Fruity, with orange, apricot and peaches being the primary flavors. Slightly spicy hops. Light and refreshing. Very smooth taste. Nice beer, full of fruity esters and biscuity malts. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth . Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), moderately malty (toasted bread/grain), with a note of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A nicely aromatic brew...lots of Hallertauer and rich malt. Tasty, if a little sweet.

Draft@Dolomites, Italy. Pale beer with a light head and an active body. The aroma is sweet and wine like and the flavour is quite syrupy and vineous. Overall an OK strong syrupy wine like beer.

Yellow golden lager, with a pure white head. Strangely the aroma reminds me of boiled beetroot, which for me isnt a bad thing, but for a beer? After i get past my past! the scent is more malty doughy. The flavour is not beetroot but a fairly robust malt accented lager almost a Helles really. Honeyish and buscuity with a thick palate. It was an OK beer and would have got an extra point or two had it not been for a slightly cloying finish.
