Mildy hazy, dark teak color. Delicate flowers, alcohol, caramel flavor. A bit fizy but rich, with an easy palate. Low bitterness but still a nice finish suggesting the hops. I really liked this. Bottle.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel, toasted grain), lightly yeasty (dough), with notes of banana and clove. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. A solid, tasty entry, as with most of Aktien’s products, but not exactly exciting.

500ml Bottle: Sweet aroma of honey, dark fruits, apple juice, and malts. Poured a medium brown color with a small off-white head that diminished quickly. Very hazy. Sparkling. Some particles. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes very malty, with notes of grains, cereal, honey, sourdough, apples, maple syrup, and yeast. Medium body. Sticky texture. Lively carbonation. Malty, dry finish. Overall, good for the style, but too malty for me. Also too much carbonation.

Poured a hazy amber color with no head, but a thin ring of off white bubbles around the edges, no lacing. Aroma of caramel malts, toffee, light banana, cinnamon, clove, and cherry. Taste of more citrus fruits, caramel malts, roast, and more spicy clove in the end.

Thanks to egajdzis for sharing this one. Pours a hazy golden orange with a small bubby white head that went away to nothing right away. Aroma of mixed fruits, caramel, light alcohol, solvent, Flavor was a mix of caramel, light banana, some dark fruits, toasted sweet malts and some citrus.

Bottle from Capone’s. Turbid deep ruddy copper/brown pour with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of applesauce, pear, cinnamon, malt...very fruity aroma. Tastes of grainy cereally malt, honey, applesauce, pear, apricot, dusty yeast. Fairly dense palate that was complex and very fruity, the predominant fruit being apples. Came off like a malty, slightly tart apple cider with a bit more body and some added fruit notes.
