Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, caramel, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of caramel as well as medium notes of sweet malt and bread. The alcohol is felt on the palate, and the finish is dry.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep golden amber to brown with a lacing off-white head. Dense malty to mild roasted, breadish note. Flavour is dry breadish and mild spiced. Smooth and mild roasted finish with a light breadish touch. Nice one.

Bottle from State Line. Pours deep coppery ruby edged with 1-finger whitish head. Aroma is big Wheaties, brown sugar, some merlot, spice, and cherry/berry hints. Rich, caramellt palate, with flavors of nuts, including walnut, hazelnut, and almond, plus more brown sugary Wheaties notes. Very nicely done.

Bottle. Sweet fruity caramel nose. Dark brown color with ruby hilites, with a beige head. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Lots of flavor. Caramel, bread, pitted fruits, like cherry. Finish is dark, light sweet with fruit notes. Not particularly bitter at all. The fruitiness makes it very pleasant to drink.

Bottle purchased at Liquor Box in East Moline. Deep brown body, like strong iced tea with a light yellowish khaki head. The aroma is cellar and tofffee. There is also a note of old leather. The taste is lots of caramel with some light milk chocolate. There is also some cantalope in the clean finish. Very soft carbonation. Nicely made.
