.5L bottle from Hollingshead Deli; Nose of molasses, brown sugar, and raisins, with a wine note; clear dark red-brown with a small tan head; flavor is raisins, toffee, and some slight sweetness. I have liked all the beers I have had from these guys!

Bottle. Mahogony beer with an off-white head. Toffee and sweet malt aroma. Toffee/caramel flavor with light dark fruits. Medium-plus bodied. Caramel, toffee, and light dark fruits linger.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear deep orangey golden with a dense beige head. Distinct aroma of roasted malt and rye bread. Quite full-bodied with sweetish roasted malt. Very sweet accents of rye bread porridge. Almost no bitterness. 180808

Sampled at state line tasting on 9-11. Pours a dark reddish brown with a light tan head. Aroma is malty with caramel, molasses, and a hint of brown sugar. Sweet and malty flavor with molasses, raisins, caramel and toffee . Medium body with a clean finish

Bottle. Hazy orange coloured with a medium sized off white ehad. Sweet aroma of malts, caramel and rye bread with notes of dried fruits and alcohol. Sweet malty flavour of caramel, rye bread and dried fruits with notes of liquorice and alcohol. Warming alcoholic finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep golden amber to brown with a lacing off-white head. Dense malty to mild roasted, breadish note. Flavour is dry breadish and mild spiced. Smooth and mild roasted finish with a light breadish touch. Nice one.
