Sep 1, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear warm amber with a nice off-white head. Light nuttiness in the nose combined with some tartness. Light body, very tart - and nothing much else. Heavy carbonation, no bitterness. Clearly infected. I really don’t think German beer should travel as far as California. 100709

Jun 12, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense off-white head. Mild roasted and estery wheat aroma. Flavour is mild acidic and banana estery with a light roasted note, but only a vague one. Ends with a mild acidic touch.

Feb 2, 2007 (50cl bottle) Cloudy copper body with quickly dissipating beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, raisin, toffee/caramel, light banana, peanut butter. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, raisin, bread, light banana. Low carbonation, light-medium body.

Aug 20, 2008 Bottle: Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, small foamy layer, quickly diminishing; sourish-fruity nose with a touch of gherkins; light sweetish-sourish flavour, quite light bodied; malty-yeasty, almost watery finish. It was hard.....

Yeasty, slightly dusty and sweet malty nose with a moderate wheat-character, accompanied by notes of berries, toffee and cloves. Slightly sweet and minimal sour flavour, quite light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty and wheaty fruity taste with shy notes of toffee; slim and short fruity finish. Aug 29, 2005 Amber/copper/brown with a frothy off-white head, this has a toffee aroma with some yeastiness, juicy fruits, and just a dab of floral hops. Medium-bodied, it’s full of toffee and chocolate and plums and... I just wish the flavpors were stronger. The touch of smoke in the dry finish is a nice touch. Mar 19, 2003 Cooper color with a light cream colored head. Malt with mild smoke and acidic aroma. A smooth feel with a dark roasted wheat flavor. Yes, I would say watery. A brew to refresh and satisfy on a hot summer day.
